“If it is meant to be,
it is up to me.”

Meet Kate
Hi friend. My name is Kate, and I am a life coach, teacher, and student of life. I believe it is important that I also mention that I grew up in a very dysfunctional home. I share this with you not only because it has shaped me into the person I am today, but I want you to know that I am just like many of you. In fact, human beings, in general, have more in common than we tend to think. I, too, have daily struggles. I, too, have to make a conscious effort to take care of myself. And I, too, have to make a decision every single day not to let my childhood define me and influence my adult interactions. My decision to become a life coach is fueled by my desire to help others turn pain into their greatest asset, just as I have and will continue to do.
I have been teaching at post-secondary institutions across Canada for almost half a decade. I have my Ph.D. in Organizational Psychology. My research aims to bridge the gap between adverse childhood experiences and resilience in the workplace. In addition to my academic achievements, I worked in the financial industry for nearly a decade. It wasn’t until I began my own journey of healing that I realized my true passion and life’s purpose: to help others on their journey of self-discovery, truth, and serenity.
My Approach
As a life coach, I work with clients to clarify areas that they would like to improve and move towards desired outcomes. Not one of us has all of the answers. But, it is my goal to help clients discover the truth... Their truth. In professional partnership with clients, I guide them to find their own solutions, rather than giving advice. They will discover their beautifully authentic self, and optimize their potential in the areas that are the most important to them.
Let’s turn the pain into your greatest asset.
